Our sensory intensive programs are a perfect compliment to your child's individual therapy needs and goals. Whether you need a program for reducing anxiety/ meltdowns, increasing calm/self-regulation, overcoming tactile defensiveness (both food and/or clothing), developing fine motor skills, or general sensory development, we have you covered.

Food Aversions/Picky Eaters-  For children with sensory issues, occupational therapists commonly introduce guided sensory play to help a child increase tolerance to textures, in order to reduce fear of foods. The Picky Eaters Program gives you and your child a fun, non-threatening way to work on sensory issues, with the goal of increasing sensory tolerance and reducing fear of textures through play-based strategies and activities. Anxiety, Meltdowns & Self-Regulation- Your child's anxiety may present itself in the form of nervousness, fear, shyness and/or avoidance. While older children have the ability to verbalize their thoughts, very young children may not have the words to describe their feelings.
