Collection: Motor Development Programs
MIGHTY, LITTLE HANDS (AND BODIES)
Motor development skills are broken down into two categories: fine motor and gross motor. Fine motor skills, eye/hand coordination, and upper body control (gross motor) are foundations upon which handwriting readiness is built. Remember...the big muscle help the little muscles! For example, you can promote shoulder strength/stability by inviting your child to lay on their belly while they color or write.
